Put on your memory caps and come back with me a few months ago. Remember when Trump was in a tizzy complaining about how unfair the debates were and he was at "war" with FOX News? He skipped one of the debates and instead held a rally for the purpose of raising charitable donations for Veterans. Trump claimed to raise six million dollars. It was reported at the time that donations did not go to a special fund but went directly into Trump's organization. Did you ever wonder what Veteran groups received that money? The answer is none. The television media has all but ignored this story but there are investigative reporters who continue to knock on Trump's door and neither Trump or his organization will address the issue. Did he lie about raising the money or did he decide to just keep it? Donald Trump has said that he could shoot someone and never lose a vote, this story of possible fraud that few people seem to care about may very well be proof of that. Trump claims...

Barack Obama gets blamed for everything from original sin to tainted meat by his political adversaries and haters in general. The latest comes from the Patron Saint of Gibberish, Sarah Palin. Dear Sarah was speaking at a Trump rally yesterday and started  in her own words, "acknowledging the elephant in the room". That was reference to the fact that her son Track has been arrested in Alaska on domestic violence charges. He is accused of beating his girlfriend. Track served a tour in Afghanistan and Palin talked, incoherently, about soldiers coming back different and implying that Track has P.T.S.D. She then blamed President Obama for this and said that's why we need a President who will care about what happens to our soldiers. Sarah Palin is an idiot. Not because of intelligence, or lack of, but because her political rhetoric contradicts itself a dozen times a day. She's a self identified Mama Grizzly but that is just one more fake description in the myth of Sarah P...

Today is Veteran's Day and it is easy to offer up platitudes. Yes we should thank all of our veterans and honor the memory of those who have sacrificed their lives. My late father served this country not once but twice. He never  complained about the draft era and the fact that after he had already served and returned to civilian life he was then recalled to active duty because of national crisis. He simply served, quietly with dignity. It isn't enough to simply say thanks. We have a covenant with veterans that must be honored and all too often it isn't. We are in a Presidential election cycle and it's up to you to sift through the rhetoric and support those who actually believe in veteran benefits and improving every facet of them including the disability process and guaranteeing no one has to wait for vital treatment and we must not allow the V.A. to be dismantled and handed over to the for profit medical industrial complex.
