Scott Walker is leaving the race for President. I hate to say I told you so, okay I don't really. Whether he completely withdraws or suspends he is toast for 2016. He never rose to the occasion because he quite simply is not ready for the national stage. He is young in Presidential terms and he can easily return. Who's next? It really doesn't matter when they go but Huckabee, Santorum, Gilmore, Graham and Pataki are going no where good for them. They may stay through Iowa but it is highly unlikely they can financially endure passed that point. What of Chris Christie? He has a ton of problems but will probably squeeze by as long as he possibly can in the hopes the party suddenly craves some Jersey beef. Somebody put me on the payroll, would ya?

The Chinese Stock Market takes a rapid tumble and so does ours. Which  begs the question, if China is such a rotten destructive force on us, as some politicians and Americans suggest, why do we have so much riding on their success? The first thing that needs to happen is our news media needs to take a chill pill and stop covering stock market flip flops like the Sun is crashing to Earth. Remember that as some are losing some money, there are others who swoop in and make money in a downturn. There is a difference between the gamesmanship of Wall Street and the real economy of  goods and services. The blips on a screen and shuffling of paper and manipulation by the money masters has cost our country and the world dearly. It is all illusion but accepted as real because we all agree to it. Republican Presidential hopeful Scott Walker has declined to take a public position on Donald Trumps recent immigration policy recommendations, including his comments about so called "anchor babies" and the 14th Amendment. Not exactly Presidential but perhaps wise for his campaign. In the interest of truth and intellectual pursuit I decided to revisit the 14th Amendment. There are five sections but it is the first that is applicable. Section 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws. Now back to our program already in progress. Mr. Trump issued his first policy paper and it's a doozey on immigration. He wants to eliminate birthright citizenship, the so called anchor babies. One small impediment would be the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, pesky little document. If you're born here you are a citizen period. Trump is under the misguided belief that there are lawyers who believe there's a case to be made for his argument that people who can read are incorrect about what the Constitution states. Only a lawyer on crack and who's been disbarred believes this. What court would hear such a case? Only through the amendment process could you repeal the 14th. So that's not happening.
