Here we go. China's C.R.R.C. Corporation announced today that it has landed a 1.3 billion dollar contract to build rail cars for the Chicago Transit Authority. How long do you think it will take Donald Trump to add this to his stump speech? For that matter it's also perfect fodder for Bernie Sanders. I don't know much about building trains but I do know that like most of our infrastructure the overall freight system is in decay. The cars in question for this contract are for moving people in one of our few major metropolitan cities that actually has genuine public transportation. The Chinese Stock Market takes a rapid tumble and so does ours. Which  begs the question, if China is such a rotten destructive force on us, as some politicians and Americans suggest, why do we have so much riding on their success? The first thing that needs to happen is our news media needs to take a chill pill and stop covering stock market flip flops like the Sun is crashing to Earth. Remember that as some are losing some money, there are others who swoop in and make money in a downturn. There is a difference between the gamesmanship of Wall Street and the real economy of  goods and services. The blips on a screen and shuffling of paper and manipulation by the money masters has cost our country and the world dearly. It is all illusion but accepted as real because we all agree to it. Remember the White House addressing it by saying she had not followed the guidance given by the administration to assure their commitment to transparency? Remember candidate Barack Obama who spoke at length about the need for transparency in our government? Remember his promise that his administration would be the most transparent in history? Remember when he promised that every major piece of legislation and grand idea (he didn't say grand idea, I'm improvising) that his administration proposed would be posted on a website for all citizens to be able to review and comment on before it went forward?
